I have to begin by apologizing for the silence - I am trying to finish some personal projects before the end of June, so it has been crazy. Anyways sha, I got a chance to watch the movie - One God One Nation. This movie tells the story of two young lovers of different ethnic groups and different religions who wanted to get married. Of course, their parents were completely against the marriage - as I watched the movie, my mind just went to a couple of people I knew back in my school days who were in love with someone and ended up married to another person because who they loved was from a different religion.
Questions:
1) Will you ever date someone from a different religious background?
2) Will you consider changing your religion for your partner? (Personally, I believe that if you change your religion for 'love', you were not that serious about that religion in the first place).
3)How will you handle it -if your parents told you that you could not be with the one you love because of your religious differences.
EXCERPT ONE GOD ONE NATION
Words that describe me: protective, nurturing, loyal, sweet, vulnerably cynical with a bitingly sarcastic sense of humor and the memory of a young elephant.
